The Dr. Camille Wardrop Alleyne Scholarship Fund
for Young Women in Science A project of The Brightest Stars Foundation
The Dr. Camille Wardrop Alleyne Scholarship Fund (CWASF) was established in 2025 as a signature initiative of the Brightest Stars Foundation. Named in honor of Dr. Camille Wardrop Alleyne, entrepreneur, rocket scientist, executive, educational leader, and humanitarian, the CWASF reflects her lifelong commitment to academic excellence and to expanding opportunities for girls and young women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Dr. Alleyne is especially dedicated to empowering students from underserved communities in the United States and around the world.
Each year, the CWASF awards two scholarships of $5,000 USD to outstanding young women pursuing STEM studies. In addition to financial support, each scholar is paired with a mentor in her chosen field of study who will provide guidance throughout the student’s college journey. Scholarships are renewable for one additional year.
