Empowering girls to reach for the stars isn’t just a goal: it’s our purpose.

Educate. Empower. Inspire.

We believe every girl deserves the chance to explore, learn, and lead.

The Brightest Stars Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering young women to pursue education and careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Founded by aerospace engineer Dr. Camille Wardrop Alleyne, our mission is to expand access, mentorship, and opportunity for girls around the world — helping them see that there are no limits to what they can achieve.

Our History

The Brightest Stars Foundation was founded in 2007 by Dr. Camille Wardrop Alleyne, a rocket engineer and one of NASA’s most respected trailblazers.

Inspired by her journey as a Caribbean-born woman in aerospace, Dr. Alleyne created the foundation to empower girls — especially those from underserved and underrepresented communities — to pursue their dreams fearlessly.

From its beginnings in the Caribbean to international outreach efforts, the foundation continues to impact thousands of lives through STEM initiatives, leadership programs, and global collaborations.

Inspiring Change, One Girl at a Time

By joining Brightest Stars, you become part of a growing community committed to equality in education and innovation. We work to break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and give girls the resources to become scientists, engineers, and innovators of tomorrow.

Our Mission

Founded in 2007, the Brightest Stars Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to educate, empower and inspire young women to be future leaders through the study of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Our Approach

We believe when you empower and inspire youth to believe in themselves and their capacity for greatness, they embrace their power to be the leaders of tomorrow - leaders who will create positive and lasting change in their communities and our world.

Our Pillars

Education

We sponsor projects that educate and engage girls in science, technology, engineering and math. These hands-on STEM engagement activities allow girls to sustain interests in scientific and technological fields.

Empowerment

We seek to empower female students globally, to see their greatness and to know their is "no limit" to what they can achieve. We also support female college students majoring in STEM fields by awarding excellence with scholarships.

Inspiration

We provide mentorship to young women all around the world, equipping them with the tools needed to select careers in STEM and successfully matriculate through secondary and tertiary education in these fields.
